THE CHURCH IN AMERICA: THE BROAD GATE OR THE NARROW GATE?

Matthew 7 : 13-14 Complete Hebrew Bible Translation                                                 13 Go in through the narrow gate; for the gate that leads to destruction is wide and the road broad, and many travel it; but it is a narrow gate and a hard road that leads to Life, and only a few find it.

Which gate is it that the churches in America are marching through? Is it the “Broad Gate” or the “Narrow Gate” that the institutional churches represent? If the Christian world claim to be followers of YESHUA (Jesus), why then do the majority (not all) practice many of the pagan holidays that can be traced back to ancient pagan worship. The majority of church’s which observe these pagan rituals are following some of the very practices that YWVH warned the Children of Israel not to partake of, nor celebrate. (Deut. 6:13-15)  In addition, I beg the question, “How many churches are actually seeing signs and wonders happening in their midst and within their congregations”? (Mark 16:16-18) YESHUA’S words in Matthew 7: 13-14 seems to suggest that Ecumenicalism is not the correct path because of the pagan church of today.

Deuteronomy 11:15-17  Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)             ¹⁵ and I will give your fields grass for your livestock; with the result that you will eat and be satisfied.’ ¹⁶ But be careful not to let yourselves be seduced, so that you turn aside, serving other gods and worshipping them. ¹⁷ If you do, the anger of ADONAI will blaze up against you. He will shut up the sky, so that there will be no rain. The ground will not yield its produce, and you will quickly pass away from the good land ADONAI is giving you.

If we were to take just this scripture alone, and apply it to what is happening in America right now, a reasonable person would have to conclude that the “Lord’s Wrath has been kindled against our nation”.  Here’s why. America relentlessly has tried to make Israel  give up the Land that YWVH has given to them. America continues to allow the Judgments and Laws of GOD, be changed by a few secular humanist and anti-Christ groups, such as the Homosexual Lobby.  Many pastors in America (most not all) or disobedient to what ADONAI has commanded.  If you are his talmidim (disciples) then you will keep HIS commandments.(John 8:31)   The pastors in America do not keep “HIS” commandments because they do not teach and practice the Holy Feast Days that are commanded by YWVH and YESHUA. (Matt. 5:17-19)  Some pastors have said, “We don’t have to observe these things anymore. Their argument is that Jesus did away with them when HE went to the cross”!  I have but one thing to say to this, “They must be working from a delusional mind”.  I believe GOD has deluded their minds as in the book of Romans Chapter 1: 28, so that they believe a lie”.   Here’s what THE LORD has to say about keeping the Commandments:

I have come not to abolish but to complete. ¹⁸ Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah — not until everything that must happen has happened. ¹⁹ So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot (Laws or Commandments) and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. ²⁰ For I tell you that unless your righteousness is far greater than that of the Torah-teachers and P’rushim, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven!

Verse 20 should be a wake up call to all who pastor. It testifies against today’s  Pharisee Pastors adding paganism to the church and taking away that which is ordained by GOD. YESHUA’ is saying that you must look past human established ideals of how to worship, and just do what HE has commanded as worship!

Lets take an honest look at what many churches practice. This will lead to the truth of whether or not your church is on the broad road or the narrow one.  Lets begin with Feasts and Holidays.  The alter of GOD is HOLY and ONLY that which is THE WORD OF GOD should be preached on it.  However, many pastors have chosen to ignore this most basic precept. Here are  just some of what they practice and try to legitimize. How many sermons  have you witness that were related to Valentines day, Father and Mothers day, Easter, Halloween,  Christmas,  Saint Patrick's Day and on and on it goes. These Christian Holidays are vestiges from  ancient paganism and worship of false gods. Just do a search as to where they all began. Many of you reading this probably won’t, because then you would have to face the facts about your pastors, the religion you practice, and  that it does not meet the standards set by Paul and the other talmidim (disciples)        (1Thessalonians 2:14)
Since childhood, I have often wondered why is it that preachers and pastors have preached many messages of salvation to congregations that state, “ Except Christ as your Savior and you will be saved” according to John 3:16. This is  true if one excepts the full measure of what our LORD was saying to Nicodemus.  However, if a person is just walking to the alter to except Yeshua but really doesn’t BELIEVE in YESHUA, then the question really becomes “Will YESHUA except them”!  Our LORD himself said in John 3:3

⁶ What is born from the flesh is flesh, and what is born from the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ Stop being amazed at my telling you that you must be born again from above!

This process of being “born again from above” has as much to do with being spiritually reborn, than it does with water baptism. For indeed, many of you are witnesses to fellow church members who have been water baptized and are still under the influence of what our LORD referred to as Demonic influence. Many still think of committing suicide, use drugs, profane speech, hold grudges, are addicted to pornography, spend more time with ipads and cell phones than in the Word of YHVW.  Standing before the congregation, I  witnessed one pastor in particular state, “I am addicted to my ipad and don’t know what I’d do without it”. One pastor recalled a situation that happened to him twenty plus years prior at a speaking engagement. He was still holding a grudge because he didn’t get a honorarium from the church where he was speaking. How can he teach on forgiveness or turning the other Cheek?  Church members are angry, unforgiving, backbiters, gossips, and disappointed with others around them, acting just as the world does with no distinction between them.  One of the biggest failings in church is pretending to be one way during services, however living very different lives after their little hour or so of what is deemed worship of the CHRIST and ADONAI.

I know of a Messianic Rabbi that recalled an event which he and his wife witnessed while visiting a church. They were visitors at this  church where a man in a wheel chair was at the alter being prayed. They encircled the man in the wheel chair and were laying hands on him, praying for the crippled man to be Healed. They were Calling on the Lord, praying for a miracle, basically reminding the LORD of HIS Word and Promises in their “Pep rally for a healing”. (my words not his) Finally after a little while watching this spectacle, he went up to where they were and asked if he could intervene for a moment. The Rabbi asked the man in the wheel chair, “Do you believe that you can be Healed”? His reply was, “No, I Don’t”! What happened next? They went right back to laying on of the hands and hooping and hollering to Jesus to heal him.

This brings me to my point: Any one can say that they except Christ as LORD and SAVIOR and can go to the alter and profess their acceptance of the LORD all they want. Unless they truly believe in HIM, and follow HIM, it will in the end mean little. All Christians say they believe in CHRIST, however, the evidence of that belief is not present among them. When the G_D of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and our LORD says to do this on this day, only then are you truly following  and obeying Him. In obedience your faith is seen by HIM! YESHUA said

John 7:14Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)                    ¹⁴ Not until the festival was half over did Yeshua go up to the Temple courts and begin to teach. ¹⁵ The Judeans were surprised: “How does this man know so much without having studied?” they asked. ¹⁶ So Yeshua gave them an answer: “My teaching is not my own, it comes from the One who sent me. ¹⁷ If anyone wants to do his will, he will know whether my teaching is from God or I speak on my own. ¹⁸ A person who speaks on his own is trying to win praise for himself; but a person who tries to win praise for the one who sent him is honest, there is nothing false about him. ¹⁹ Didn’t Moshe give you the Torah? Yet not one of you obeys the Torah!

YESHUA said, “without HIM, we could do nothing! (John 15:5) Could this be the problem? Many of today’s churches are doing nothing. The can’t heal the sick or speak out against their communities sin problems, but they are ready and willing to support these communities as friends, instead of followers of YESHUA HAMASICH!
Don’t hide your faces and act as though you didn’t know this truth. Start to learn the worship and praise ceremonies that YESHUA followed and performed in the TEMPLE! Perform the Feast of Trumpets Holy Convocation ordered by YHWH and observed by YESHUA. Yom Kippur and the Feast of Tabernacles are the very things that HE observed and as followers of HIM, so should you! Until you do, you will not even know the Holiness, Power, and Beauty of these things. Demand that your Pastors start to walk in the Holy Ways set by YHWH and not this Greek Jesus that has damaged so many souls and alienated them from the true Messiah and G_D! Fact is, many Christians have a false image of  CHRIST that has been perpetuated for centuries. Many don’t even pray to the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because they have not been taught the road which the LORD said is ,“the Way, the Truth and the LIFE”.  YHVW is not a religion! Religion is man centered and not GOD centered! The creator of the universe who you should revere with Holy Humbleness, keeps the earth in perfect position around the sun, so that we might live. We are microscopic compared to the Universe or just other objects near by. Frightening Universe that YHWH spoke into Existence
